Hösten 2007 satsade Nike Women's på bloggar för att sprida ryktet om sina nya dans-kollektioner.
Nike wanted to increase awareness for their new Women's Dance collection.
A small budget, among other things, made us recommend using a blog solution where we could reach our target group - young, active and social women - in an effective way. We asked some specifically picked out bloggers if they want to be test pilots for Nike Women's. Those who signed up for this had Nike banners put on their blogs and got a number of Nike Women's products sent home.
The bloggers then wrote about the product in the blog, several of them posting pictures of themselves in the Nike Women's dance gear. This gave us a relevant editorial placement and created a good discussion about the new Nike products.
Through the blog ambassadors, we managed to not only reach fashion-interested young blog readers, but also to create a discussion around the products, as many people chose to comment the products on the blogs.
This is great! I dance and I definitely need some nicer clothes to dance in. I am tired of the old soft dancing pants with a short top. I thought the aladdin pants were killer cool. Aaahh. I am starting yoga this weekend too, so the tops were also an alternative. Thanks for the tip!
